Step 1: Take Your Pet To The Vet
If your pet is injured, sick or involved in an accident, you are free to visit any licensed vet in South Africa. You pay for the vet visit and all the treatment costs, keeping your proof of payment and your vet’s invoice handy. This will ensure that you have all the necessary documentation when you submit a claim to AA Pet. If you’re doing your first AA Pet insurance claim, request your pet’s history from your vet before submitting it. This will help speed up the process.
Step 2: Complete a Claim Form
When you take your pet to the vet, make sure you have an AA Pet claim form with you. It will need to be signed by your vet in order for you to submit a claim. Ask your vet to complete the section at the bottom of the claim form. You can also send the claim form to the vet after the appointment, so long as you complete the claim form before submitting your claim to AA Pet. The claim form must be stamped and signed by your vet. Download the AA Pet Claim Form.
Step 3: Submit the Claim Form
